Something is happening at Honda these days. They’re sick of all that whining about how they “lost their way” and they’re sick to death of Mercedes power making McLarens look slow and they are choking on rage-vomit at the thought of Ducati – freakin’ Ducati! – thinking they have some sort of “handle” on the […]
The Frankfurt auto show is usually the beginning of a model year’s auto show season, and this year is no exception with a host of 2014 models being shown for the first time. BMW is starting us off with a bit of 2 wheeled news this morning, having recently announced that the company’s C Evolution […]
When it comes to serious adventure touring, it’s Honda’s Africa or BMW’s big twins. The Beemers are cute and all, but when you’re more concerned about making it home than you are about making it to Starbucks, it’s Honda. There’s only one problem: You can’t buy the Africa in the US … yet!
What you see here is the new Honda Civic Tourer – a thinly-veiled “concept” version of the company’s upcoming Civic wagon, which is set to bow as a production model in 2014. Because of the car’s ultra-efficient 1.6 L diesel engine – which is good for 118 hp and a solid 221 lb-ft of torque, by the way – we’ll probably never see this sexy, Rodimus Prime stand-in on this side of the pond.

We’ve covered BMW’s new maxi-scooters since they were drawings, on through the prototype stage, and now – finally! – they’re in production, coming to a BMW dealer near you early next year. It’s no wonder we’re excited about the new BMW maxis. They’re fast, they’re refined, and – offering 50+ mpg fuel economy and more […]
40 mpg is the new magic number when it comes to small cars, and the battle lines are being drawn. The latest entry comes from Hyundai, whose new 2011 Elantra gets 40 mpg, on the base model. Oh snap.
In 2012 Ford will give us an all new Focus to drool over (I never thought I’d say that about a Focus). Until then though, the Focus has a lot of racing to do. Yes, the humble little hatchback is quite the prolific racer, with numerous championships and manufacturer’s titles under its belt. While the […]
Despite the latest advancements in automotive hybrid and flex-fuel technologies, motorcycles and scooters remain one of the most efficient ways for energy-conscious commuters to get around town. Unfortunately, there haven’t been any real “alt fuel” options open to motorcyclists. As such, despite the incredible efficiency of some 2-wheelers (my own Honda Ruckus gets over 100 […]
