Amarok Racing Announces 2013 Pikes Peak Rider

If you’re going to race, you may as well race with the best. Electric motorcycle company Amarok is entering Pikes Peak, the uber-challenging hill climb, for the first time. To help them get the best possible run up the hill, they’ve enlisted 6 time Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Champion Greg Tracy. The Canadian builder is running Agni motors, a controversial choice. This video discusses the development of the project.

Mark Neale has done it again! As a big fan of his films about MotoGP, I was very eager to see Charge, his take on TTXGP. Neale did an excellent job conveying the level of perseverance and innovation needed to compete in this series. The film focuses primarily on two very different teams as they prepare for the first TTXGP race at Isle of Man in 2009.

Amarok P1: Mavizen Killer or Yet Another Fantasy Concept?

The Amarok comes to the TTXGP 2011 paddock with a fine pedigree- designed by veteran motorcycle designer Michael Uhlarik, whose work has touched many top brands. Uhlarik and his partner/fabricator Kevin O’Neil drew their inspiration from aircraft. Yet most TTXGP teams have opted for as much direct air-cooling as possible, even the eCRP with their in-house wind tunnel. So it will be interesting to see how the Amarok fares under race conditions.
