Charge Your Phone on a Tesla Supercharger (Kinda)

We’re all Tesla fans here — some of us more than others. To those of you who are willing to admit to being somewhat obsessive fans of Tesla, then, you may be interested to learn that a fellow Tesla fan on the Tesla Motors Club forum has gone through the trouble of designing and 3D-printing a scaled-down Tesla Supercharger. Scaled sown perfectly, in fact, to double as your phone charger.

Even more interesting to Tesla fans: he’s has begun offering the tiny Tesla Supercharger phone chargers for sale on Panjo.

The 3D-printed phone chargers seem to be available with either a micro-USB or an Apple lightning cable hookup, and are being sold for $99 US each (plus shipping). Here’s a link to the product listing, along with a picture of the product, below.

3D Printed Tesla Supercharger for Your Phone

For those perhaps a bit worried about whether Tesla is getting its fair share or not of profits, it should be noted that the creator apparently reached out to a high-up Tesla rep who said there was nothing to worry about — as the comment below shows:

I had contact to a higher representative of TM. He said that I “don’t have to worry about that” and ordered one (of the chargers) for his desk. There is nothing to add. This is just my private hobby, I would like to share.
