Tesla P85D vs BMW i8 (Videos)

The good folks at Drag Times recently put the two quickest production electric cars against each other — the BMW i8 and the Tesla Model S P85D. The BMW i8 reportedly goes from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds, while the P85D (without the Ludicrous upgrade) gets there in 3.1 seconds. But what do the two really look like in that short sprint, and side by side even?

That’s what these videos are here to show you:

Well, that was insane. The BMW i8 looks like it has a broken ankle or something. And the funny thing is that the Tesla is cheaper and has a lot more space inside.

Even from a roll, the BMW i8 gets creamed.

I don’t even care to see a BMW i8 race a Ludicrous Tesla Model S. It’ll be boring.

The end of ICE is near.
