The Henes Broon F870 Is The Tesla Of The Power Wheels World

If you want to get kids hooked on something, you have to get ‘em while they’re young. The Henes Broon F870 puts those plastic Power Wheels you and I grew up with to shame with its leather seats, dual electric motors, and 10 MPH top speed. It’s the Tesla Model S of the toy car world, and I only wish they made an adult version.

Coming out of South Korea, the Broon F870 is probably better equipped than the car you use to commute to work everyday. With a single leather bucket seat, all-wheel drive, dual electric motors (just like the P85D!), and a four-point racing harness, there’s even a 7-inch Android touchscreen tablet that displays information like speed and charge levels. My Chevy Sonic doesn’t even have that, though the Tesla Model S certainly does.

Of course being a “toy”, the top speed is limited to just 10 MPH, which is still about twice as fast as the Power Wheels Barbie Mustang we saw recently. The tablet does however include sound effects for the driver, and a Bluetooth connection lets parents take over the F870 at any time, another feature that recalls the Tesla Model S. It’s basically a giant remote control car if you want it to be, and it even features working headlights and taillights, something we can all attest to being in short supply on today’s highways.

Want one? Me too, though we’re both probably a bit too big to fit in it. Also it ain’t cheap at between $900 and $1,000 each. But can you really put a price on your child’s happiness? I didn’t think so.
