Pike’s Peak isn’t the only major, historic, hill climb race that’s being run this weekend – IMSA’s 6 hours of the Glen is running now at Watkins Glen, NY, with the Daytona-winning Action Express Racing Chevy Corvette DP car of Joao Barbosa and Christian Fittipaldi leading as I type this. Over in the UK, the big news is at “the UK’s longest driveway”, and it’s called the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Goodwood is famous for showcasing historic racing cars on the 1.5 mile long forest rally stage – and we’re not just talking about historic hill climb cars. Championship-winning Formula 1 cars from all eras, iconic LeMans winners, the record-smashing 2013 Pike’s Peak racer of Sebastien Loeb, even the record-setting Plymouth of NASCAR legend Richard Petty. They are all here, and they’re all being blasted up the course at (somewhat careful) speed, in exactly the manner they were meant to be enjoyed by fans and drivers, alike.
You can watch some of the world’s fastest – and most valuable! – historic and futuristic racers from all disciplines in action at the live stream, below. Or, if that’s broken, use the source links, at bottom, to try one of the other live feed options. Enjoy!
