Despite being in the actual race for just 24 minutes instead of 24 hours, Nissan’s super-clever ZEOD RC hybrid electric racer was still the star of the show for EV enthusiasts. The highly advanced racer set an all-electric speed record – at over 300 km/h! – and completed a full out-lap on pure electric power before transmission woes ended the car’s LeMans adventure.
Regardless of the ZEOD RC’s disappointing day, however, there is no denying that the car is a technological powerhouse. Appreciating how advanced the car really is, though, takes a really in-depth tour guided by an expert in the car … like Nissan LeMans driver Lucas Ordonez.
Lucky for us, that’s exactly what we get in this fantastic ZEOD RC video tour from Racer magazine, below. Enjoy!
