Motorcycle Trailer: Take it With You, With Only 2 Wheels

Motorcyclists have to put up with a lot of horrible stuff. I’m not talking about heat, cold, rain, or snow, however- I’m talking about the nonsensical ramblings of non-bikers who say things like “Aren’t those dangerous?” and “What if it rains?” and “How do you get groceries?” To those people, I usually say “No.”, “I get wet.”, and “Backpack.” Now that I’ve seen this new Wipi Raptor motorcycle trailer, though, I might have to change that last answer to “I put them in the trunk.”

French motorcycle trailer company Wipi is now offering this “Raptor” single-wheel bike trunk that steers and turns without upsetting the bike’s natural handling (like many 2 wheeled, “axle” trailers do), and matches the look and feel of many modern sport and street bikes. For older/cruiser style bikes, Wipi offers its trailers with fairly convincing 2-tone paint schemes that won’t ruin the old-school cool vibe.

You can get a better look at the size and capacity of the new Wipi Raptor, below …

… and check out a variety of bikes fitted with the sporty-looking motorcycle trailer in the photo-gallery, below. Once you’ve done that, let us know what you think of the Wipi- which sells for about 2400 Euro in its native France- and if it would be enough to get you to start thinking about commuting and traveling on a fuel-efficient, fun to ride motorcycle any time soon. Enjoy!
