MotoCzysz has announced their lineup for the 2013 season, signaling their intent to move beyond the Isle of Man this year and campaign a full season. This is great news for FIM eRoadRace fans. The serie formerly known as TTXGP and FIM ePower have united, making it easier to fill the grids with truly competitive bikes.

Rutter and Miller will campaign the 2013 Czysz bikes at the TT Zero, the electric race held in conjunction with the Isle of Man’s Tourist Trophy races. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to cover it live like we did last year, but we’ll do our best to keep you informed. For the eRoadRacing series, Shane Turpin and Steve Rapp will pilot the bikes.

I met with MotoCzysz GM Ray Crepeau today at their Portland, OR headquarters. The full interview will be available Monday, but he did answer a few of my questions specific to this press release. Yes, there will be two bikes, with TT champions Rutter and Miller piloting them for the TT Zero.

Crepeau told me that Turpin and Rapp will be piloting the Czysz machines for the entire 2013 eRoadRacing series, barring any conflicts or problems arising. Although Turpin doesn’t have the racing resume Rapp has, Crepeau stated they’re very excited to have him on board for 2013, as well as Laguna Seca TTXGP lap record holder Steve Rapp.

Press release follows on the next page.
