If you’re in the Bay Area, you may want to check out the EV Symposium, a 2-day event August 23rd & 24th dedicated to the electric vehicle industry and hosted by the Silicon Valley Leadership Group. Check out the schedule to see who’s speaking. Their website describes the conference:
With a mix of keynote speakers, including Ray Lane of Kleiner Perkins, Charged 2012 will feature plenary sessions, best practices, and hands on workshops, designed to drive solutions that will enable mass adoption.
They will also have an awards ceremony for EV readiness. Find out how to enter here.:
The Ready, Set, Charge! Bay Area EV Readiness Awards will be presented for electric vehicle programs, policies and infrastructure in three categories: EV-Ready Business, EV-Ready Development (multi-unit housing), and EV-Ready Community (local government). Nominations have been collected by means of region-wide surveys designed to solicit specifics on EV readiness. Awardees were evaluated by a distinguished awards committee and will be presented at the Charged 2012: EV Symposium Silicon Valley luncheon on August 23rd.
We will be covering this conference live, so feel free to submit any questions you may have for the speakers in the comments below.
