A 95 mile day of canyon and freeway riding proves the Zero S is ready for anything, regardless of how far it may take you.
Zero had a massive showing again this year, with a central spot on the show floor at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, CA. As press entered the show we were greeted by a pair of ladies handing us Zero brochures and reminding us not to miss their presentation. After a record year in sales, where they sold more bikes in January than in all of 2011, Zero motorcycles debuted their 2013 line with major upgrades to their entire line, and a new model, the FX. Zero now makes their own motor, a direct drive brushless motor with almost double the available horsepower of their 2012 models.
While electric car sales aren’t exactly inspiring, electric motorcycles are only growing in popularity. Leading the charge is Zero Motorcycles, who have just announced some significant changes in their 2013 lineup that will only make them more appealing. The highlights; fast charging, more range, and twice the power. Yes, please, and thank you!
