Nissan sold a total of 4,319 e-NV200 electric vans in Europe in 2016 — that is, there were 4,319 registrations of these vans in Europe in 2016.
In our 4th article pulled from Electric Cars: What Early Adopters & First Followers Want — a new report from CleanTechnica, EV Obsession, and GAS2 — I’m jumping into which electric car models respondents were most likely to buy and most excited, as well as some implications regarding certain car companies. Originally published on EV Obsession. It’s no surprise to see that German car companies continue to top the electric car sales table in Germany, but after test driving the Audi A3 e-tron myself, I have to admit that I’m surprised to see it and its almost identical cousin, the Volkswagen Golf GTE, topping the tables. Vans have always been a popular custom conversion candidate, and the all-electric Nissan e-NV200 has already been turned into a mobile tailgating/BBQ extravaganza. The next step? Turning it into a 14,000 watt DJ station on wheels, complete with all the tools for a silent disco, light-up dance floor, and four interactive TV screens so you […]
Originally posted on EVObsession Sales of electric cars have never been higher, at least among passenger car sales. Commercial vehicle buyers have been much slower to join the EV hype train though, citing high costs and limited range as the main barrier. Despite this, Navigant Research believes that by 2023 commercial plug-in hybrid and EV […]
It’s finally starting to feel like spring here in the Northeast, and I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to roll out the ol’ grill and start BBQing me some delicious meats. Something I’ve always dreamed of though is a mobile BBQ vehicle, but something more environmentally friendly than your average pickup, and it […]
Those looking for a 21st century Westfalia should take a look at the U.K.’s Hillside Leisure, which converted the Nissan e-NV200 into a modern day camper.
The Nissan e-NV200 electric van either received a 3 out of 5 star rating from the EuroNCAP crash tests, which is worse than it sounds.
