The world’s largest EV charging station is now open for business about 60 kilometers north of Oslo, Norway. It features 20 Tesla Superchargers, four CHAdeMO/CCS fast chargers, and four 22 kilowatt chargers.
BMW and Nissan have teamed up to add 120 DC fast chargers in 19 states. All are compatible with CHAdeMO or CSS protocols and can be located on smartphone apps or onboard software.
In January, 2013 there were just 160 CHAdeMO sites operating in the US. Today though, there are 630, and about 150 of those are found at Nissan dealers.

Nissan is taking a play from Tesla’s book, and will soon roll out its own network of fast-charging stations at Nissan dealerships from coast to coast.

Some of today’s top stories include Toyota’s plans to sell a $100,000 fuel cell vehicle, propane gel could clean up fracking, and Suzuki’s 72 MPG “Regina.”
