The hotly-anticipated, 310 HP 2015 Mustang EcoBoost isn’t even on the roads, yet, but that hasn’t stopped the Mustang enthusiasts at Ford from developing an add-on “Performance Pack” that adds a set of 19″x9″ black alloy wheels wrapped Pirelli 255/40 tires and a shorter, 3.55:1 final drive ratio to the ponycar’s trackday arsenal.
It’s not like the 2015 Mustang EcoBoost really needed the upgrades, either! The new car boasts a 52/48% front/rear weight distribution (the best, ever, for a Mustang) and a thoroughly modern independent rear suspension system. Those pieces represent a huge upgrade from the nose-heavier, wagonier-axled, V6-drivenier 2014 Mustangs, and they were considered pretty capable performers!
Enough talk, though. You came to watch the new 2015 Mustang EcoBoost hit the track – so take a minute to watch the video, at top, taken at Ford’s Dearborn, MI proving grounds. When you’re done, let us know what you think of this new-age SVO Mustang in the comments section at the bottom of the page. Enjoy!
