New OAK Racing LMP Debuts Ahead of LeMans (w/ Video)

Oak Racing is the only current entry in IMSA’s Tudor United Sportscar Championship to campaign the Morgan chassis in the prototype class. As such, they don’t have the benefit of multi-car test data to help them get set up, but they consistently run strong (witness the team’s 3rd place finish at yesterday’s Chevy Sportscar Classic at Belle Isle). They also run at LeMans, and they just unveiled their latest 24 hour race weapon.

In this video, you can get a behind-the-scenes look at the latest LeMans/WEC Oak Racing Morgan Nissan going together in 1080p high definition.

So, what do you guys think? Will this latest Morgan chassis be enough to get the Nissan boys to the top step of the podium at this year’s LeMans, or is anyone not rocking a diesel-powered Audi Quattro or a 1000 HP Toyota hybrid outclassed and outgunned? Let us know what you think in the comments, below.
