New, 963 HP “LaFerrari” Ferrari Hybrid is Here! (w/ video)

After much speculation, teasing, hinting, posturing, and guesses made by the automotive press as-a-whole, it’s finally here. This is Ferrari’s new LaFerrari, the company’s all-conquering, 963 hp KERS-equipped made-by-Ferrari hybrid hunk of rolling sculpture – and it is (if you’ll pardon the op-ed) f***ing gorgeous.

There are photos of the thing all over the ‘net, by now, so I won’t bother reproducing them for you here. All you really need to do is put your headphones on, turn the volume up, close your eyes, and listen to the car’s raucous ICE engine scream down the Fiorano racetrack.

This is the LaFerrari. This is a (near as makes no difference) 1000 hp Ferrari hybrid. This is, arguably, the first “true” 21st century supercar. If you don’t want one, I pity you.
