In NYC? Watch Revenge of the Electric Car for Free!

Revenge of the Electric Car debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival back in April, but is still hotly anticipated in those markets that haven’t yet gotten a screening.  If you’re in New York City this week, though, your wait is almost over – the movie will be shown this Tuesday, July 12th, for free in Central Park as part of a promotional event sponsored by Nissan and the NYC Mayor’s Office.

Those who attend the screening will also have a chance to explore Nissan’s all-electric Leaf up close and personal like, as well as an opportunity to give the mayor’s office feedback on the perceived importance of issues like public charging stations or a new, solar-energy based EV charging infrastructure (just 2 of the many possible examples, obviously).

The movie will be shown at 8:30PM EDT in Central Park, but (like any free event) you’ll want to get there early.  Check out the film’s official trailer, below.
