Scion iQ EV Confirmed for US Launch in 2012

My enthusiasm for Toyota’s little iQ has been well documented here on Gas 2.0, and its arrival on US shores in 2012 has been hotly anticipated.  Now, however, it looks like I’ll have a tough choice to make:  gas-powered, or electric!

The electric iQ’s impending arrival on US shores was announced at Toyota’s US dealer meeting this past Thursday, in Las Vegas.  The diminutive, 3-passenger electric iQ city car features approximately 65 miles of quiet cruising between charges, which should be more than enough for most city-dwellers and suburbanites.

No word, yet, on pricing.
