Great news from the Detroit Auto Show! Toyota’s cheaper hybrid can’t come soon enough! The Toyota FT-CH is a great addition to the Prius family: smaller, more efficient, and cheaper!

If you’re interested in fuel cells, hybrid cars, or any other green technologies, check out http://www.greencollareconomy.com. It has hundreds of case studies on emerging green tech and the largest b2b green directory on the web.

It's a nice looking car. It's a good idea producing an entry level hybrid car for the poorer folk.

OOOO, I want one. I love the seats. Curious as to what the price and mpg will end up being. I think it is so smart for them to start a Prius family.

It is vveeerrry niiiicce. I like the size and the shape and the look (I'm having to get used to the "pincers" of the headlights and the hood). The dashboard is, while subdued for a concept, is probably a little too much for a production car? And the nested interlocking body color wiper arms are pretty fancy for a production car -- I hope the mesh seats make it! They are very slim and give you more use of the interior space, and they will be cool in the summer. the wheel covers are sleek w/o being bland, and they are not mirror image, so they seem to be ready for production.

I'm looking forward to knowing more about the drive train: plug-in, serial or parallel, battery type and pack size, ICE displacement and details, EV driving range, etc.

Sincerely, Neil
