A Car That Can Park Itself

Here’s just the car for those of us who are parking-challenged—A car will park itself. You don’t have to even stay inside it while it does the trick:

This is the car of the future! Mine, anyway. I’m not the world’s best parallel parker—my kids always designated completely empty streets as a “Mom-sized parking space.” But even if you are great at parking, think of how convenient this would be for those hasty errands. Just ditch your car outside to run into the store, and it would deal with the parking by itself. That’s a real time-saver.

And further down the road, perhaps it could even scout around the block for its own parking space?

Or, lets face it, there likely won’t be any parking spaces in our crowded future, making this combination the self-chauffeured vehicle of your dreams. You could just have it go around the block a couple times while you run into the store. But, then again, that would be a waste of energy, now, wouldn’t it?
