		<description>Battery powered cars won&#039;t really make it mainstream.  Why?  You still need to plug it in.  The next generation of motoring that is intended to replace petroleum-based cars should also be able to provide the freedom the petroleum-based automobiles have given us over the years and be able to let us live the life we already have.  And that is the drive, fill-up, drive-some-more behavior.  300 miles is still limited.  If you run out of charge in the middle of nowhere, then that&#039;s technically the end of your journey.  Yes, solar power can be added to keep the car going, but what if you run of charge in the night during a long drive?  That&#039;s still not the same freedom that we enjoy with petroleum-based cars.  What we truly need is automobiles using hydrogen fuel cell technology and hydrogen fuel stations.</description>
