Chang'An e301 Hybrid SUV Concept

Chinese manufacturer Chang’An offered up this hybrid concept at the 2009 Shanghai Motor Show. Being a concept vehicle, there aren’t many details on the design outside of the aesthetics. Mostly because I don’t read Chinese.

It looks like a cross between the Batman Tumbler and the Delorean from Back to the Future, if you ask me. But the best part is the statement “Fun Hybrid Concept” which brands the rear of the car. I think they should add that to the Prius!

What do you think of the e301 concept?

Absolutely fabulous looking car, so futuristic and looks wildly capable for off road driving as well.

Seeing cars like this makes me feel like i wanna stop with my new car buying apetit and wait until this beauty comes out. If they could make it with manual transmission than low range transmission won’t be needed at all. Please send me info on this car if it’s coming any soon. Tony :)

Oh, and off course it should come with a minimum 23cm of ground clearance :)

Beautifull – I’d buy it, just needs 4-6 seating (a longer version perhaps as a diff model) but truely groundbraking design. Also I’d consider a bit more ground clearance.
