New Zealand Air flew a "test flight" using oil derived from a plant seed, successfully. There are many fuel alternatives, the reason that none have been brought to the spotlight is simply economics. They may be cheap to make, but distribution seems to be a big factor.

I liked it, because it keeps people a little skeptical, and the skepticism gives me that much more time to invest in this and some other similar tickers before they get to the dollar mark. A bit selfish maybe, but algae fuel will come around regardless, the stats in it's behalf are really quite promising, and the "if" they mentioned on CNN is not an "if" it's a "when". Americans are notorious for the "can do" spirit, among others, but we make it happen and the world knows it. I consider myself conservative, yet a bit liberal too, whatever, I love the potential.

Chris,

Why is it that when I simply state what Palin said I'm being "anti-conservative"? She did call bloggers pathetic liars.

Nonetheless, you'll just have to deal with the fact that the vast majority of "greenies" are not conservatives.

Of course, there are conservatives who are also greenies (you included, I'm guessing?), and you'll find a number of our authors fall into that category. In fact, if you spend any time on this site, you'll find that it is dominated by rational discussion and realistic viewpoints -- regardless of whether you want to label yourself as a conservative, liberal, cheesepuff, or cornflake.
