Tazzari ZERO Electric Car Goes Live With Interactive Website
Just a few short months after the announcing their new Tazzari Zero EV, the Tazzari company has gone live with a proper website for their slick little electric vehicle — a welcome change from most vaporware peddlers, who build websites first and products last (if ever!).
The Zero’s new website includes a full gallery of images, an interactive configurator (pictured), and — surprise! — videos (plural!) of a running prototype.
More about the upcoming Tazzari Zero - and a bit of Tazzari history - after the jump.

Giorgio Tazzari founded the Tazzari group of companies — which includes the well-known aluminum foundry FOMET — in 1963, growing the group into an important engineering and aluminum products company.
The current ZERO EV project makes use of the company’s expertise in engineering and lightweight materials to put together a simple, elegant little runabout of a car.
Most significantly, perhaps, Tazzari hopes to position the ZERO as a sports-car for the city, taking advantage of the car’s low weight, lithium batteries, and the high-torque characteristics of the ZERO’s electric motors to deliver brisk acceleration to 35 mpg and a top speed just over 55 mph for a claimed 88 miles — which seems to be plenty of Go! Just watch as the ZERO engineers utterly FLOG this little beast in the video below!
Tazzari promises overnight charging from empty to full, and will be offering a 3-phase, high-current charging station that will allow for a full charge in an almost-reasonable 45 minutes. CLICK HERE for Tazzari’s sell-sheet (you’ll need a PDF reader).
