My Idea for a unit to provide Temperature Control & reduce Idle Emissions was inspired by the Unit I saw at Walmart DC’s . Here is the idea http://twitpwr.com/3yU/

it would help ALL Truckers not just BIG Trucking by holding everyone accountable for emissions and stop punishing little guys.

I would mention that the 33,000lb mark accounts for the tractor and an empty trailer, typically. The tractor on its own is usually 16,000 – 22,000 lbs.

Your comment is very interesting. Sounds like you’re a driver or knows the habits of them. In your last sentence, you imply that the reason drivers keep the engine running is to keep the AC going. Seems like a good fan driven ventilation system (possibly solar powered) could keep the cab cool with the engine off, especially if the outside temps are less than 60 degF. Hmmm.
