Honda, one of the 2009 Sundance Film Festival’s official sponsors, parked their hydrogen fuel-cell powered FCX Clarity right in the middle of Main Street Park City. The car has been getting a lot of ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhs’ by most passer-bys, which may explain why the attendants looked slightly uncomfortable when I asked how much the car costs and how many are actually on the road.
Well,
a) You can’t buy one, only lease (assuming you live in SoCal). The lease is $600 per month for 3 years.
b) There are only a few on the road, like fewer than 5.

hydrogen is for real. i have had one put one my 2005 scion that was getting 34 mpg and now in the mountians i get 45.6 and on flat lands i get 50.5 so yes some do work but i hear only about 20% made do work. mine is a highline hybrid they are nationwide even world wide and on the stock market check them out the stock is symw have grown 189% in two months.

The end, so much closer than you know, for cheap oil, will bruise America badly! We are a spoiled nation, very addicted, and almost totally dependent on, not just oil, but gasoloine itself, and too stubborn and propagandized by Exxon/Mobile, their ilk, and advertising propagandists to know enough to change, we actually bypassed the chance for scrubbed Euro Diesels, ready to burn bio-diesel, and a full 40 % foreign oil reduction! We will come to regret this folly, and soon! Solar, Wind, Tidal, Hydro, and Geo-thermal power can lessen the blow, if we act soon! Can we act soon enough?
