Dear Mr. Yokoyama,

Thank you for your excellent interview with Mr. Yamamoto of Honda. We claim to have a 200 X higher capacitance than the EEstor BaTiO3 battery. With help from the Federal Government of Canada and a world renowned Canadian University, we are working on a new revolutionairy ultra capacitor with a dielectric C of 120,000+ with out dielectric saturation. This battery should be recharched in seconds at 220V. In fact, we are calling upon all car manufacturers to join us as this would be really in the interest of the environment. Thanks and best regards.

Hi, sorry I did not see your comment.

As far as I know, Honda independently developed thier own ultra-capacitor in the past. They put it on FCX (pre-Clarity model). They only produced very limited amount of them, I believe. See following links below for further details.

They have been developing ultra-capacitor for several years at least.

By the way, additional interview posts will come very soon. Thank you for reading my articles!

Did Honda build the ultracapacitors they've used in the past? If not, did Mr. Yamamoto say what company or companies built the ones they used? The information Gas 2.0 has released about the EEStor ultracapacitor patents is both encouraging and discouraging, as they have yet to demonstrate a single prototype to the public. I look forward to parts 2, 3, 4, ... of your interview report!
