I now have Corolla which can get over 500 miles on a tank of gas(according to which city you buy gas in.. the octang is lower in my city). I have averaged about 33 to 40 mpg until the price of gas went sky high but the higher the gas goes the less gas milage i get. It's a huge rip off by the oil companies, and all of these indian stores. Recently one store owner was deported back to india for screwing around with his tank numbers thus ripping his customers off . my car holds a bout 13 gallons of gas and at $4 per gallon that's 52 bucks. so just hopw much would I save on toyoto's fuel cell hybrid.

I beelive also that if everyone carried a gallon can arond with them and filled it up every time they brought a tank of gas and checked the results against the tank readins they would see where some of their low gas miliage came from.

Toyota is definitely teasing us by announcing their governmental approval of this model without announcing any prices. In addition, you'd think they'd have some production schedule in mind for overseas -- but they've released no data on that as far as I can research.
