Heeeey...

Look, not all Americans drive BIG gas gus-lin SUVs.
However, it is all about money for most of us.
I drive a 1991 Mazda Miata with 184K on it at 30 miles per gallon.
Yeah and the top comes down.
No car payments and it seats 2 and has a good heater and air con...
Disc breaks, etc, uses no, no drips, oil, etc...

Here in America things are spread out more than in Europe, in the towns for daily life...
This can not be changed thought some of us wish it were.
We have, my wife and I, have a 2007 Toyota RAV4 and get close to 34 MPG on highway with air, at 70mph, with the CD blasting, disc breaks, 2.4 L 4 cylinder, etc.
Room for 5???.

IF an electric vehicle comes along for 10K, 200 mile range and seats 4 why would no one get one...?
Holy ship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have the technology today to make THIS happen.
When will it.

Over,

This car is worth about $12k, and that is it. It's ridiculous how over-priced these electric cars are. $25,000 is not affordable, considering it's a 4-seater, hatchback, with no real trunk or storage, unless you sacrifice 2 seats, making it a 2-seater, and it is not a sports car. The fact that it is electric means absolutely nothing, since it's not like it runs on air. The consumer still has to pay to fuel it.

It's like being punished for trying to do the right thing.

I never thought I'd be old and gray when this kind of technology becomes the norm, but it's looking like that will be the case. At this rate, it's going to be another 30-40 years, and that is pathetic.

What kind of government incentives will we see with these electric cars? I'm all for decreasing my use of gasoline and decreasing the amount of pollution from using a gasoline powered car. I would just like to see the price a little lower than 25K.

With Th!nk mired in bankruptcy, I guess we are not going to see this car in the USA this year. And doubtful for 2010. I think the only time we'll see one is after they build a factory in the USA.
