Does this car have Air conditioning and how fast does it drain the batteries? I ask for the Arizona population and marketplace. California and New Mexico. How about Texas and the hot Florida road ways.

Tesla is a very nice car for the rich. But the need is now and for a price that is affordable. We don't need a EV that can go 0-60 in 4 sec. We need a EV to get us to work and back home at freeway speeds with a good range of 100 miles. Charge at work and home.

You know not so long ago I remember going to a festival in Los Angeles and their was some EV's on display. I ask the guy working at that time what the public thinks about the cars ? CAN IT GO TO VEGAS!

Wow, people at that time just was'nt ready ha,ha maybe they are now!

Nice, all these fancy fuel efficient, new cars, fast sporty and very expensive to say the least! There are millions of us who purchase cars every year, and we are in the 65 years and older age bracket! We live on fixed incomes, and a lot of us have our personal problems that make life a bit difficult for us. For instance, just getting into and out of automobiles! The new, fuel efficient vehicle, VW is about to attempt to sell in the U.S., looks fine, if I were about 50 years younger! Or the car FMOC is getting ready to push on the American public, is not much more than a Voltwagon of the past with a different skin. Big deal! As a senior citizen, the manufacturers need to understand the needs of everyone and not just the select few who will be able to benefit from their expertise. Everyone needs to be considered. There are more needs of the automobile than fuel economy. True, size and weight are the big issues, but what good is a vehicle if you cannot get into or out of it? What good is it if you need to take a long trip of 400 or more miles? What good is it if you have another couple to come along and there is no room for anything other than bodies? When we travel, our trips are 1000 miles or more. We stay at motels and we need room to carry our luggage, plus our two dogs. We like to stop and see the country as we travel, this cannot be done in airplanes or on trains. Besides even now the cost of traveling on an airplane is exceeding our affordable cost of travel. We drive a Jaguar S, comparable to a Lincoln MX size wise, and we find this space almost to small for our traveling needs. Small size is one thing , but,one needs to think very seriously about the size of transportation they actually need. If you can afford to put of $25,000 finance over four or five years, that $25,000 has now increased to $50,000, for a tiny small car that is only good for suburban use and not much more, go for it. But remember in the long haul, you will probably regret it!

I'm happy someone is using the name Tesla... That's about the only good think I have to say about this car... In my opinion, it's just an overpriced toy for the rich. What we need is a company to make a car for all of us... Oh wait, their is such a company! And they're selling a freeway ready electric that can go 120 miles - and it only costs $19.995! How about that! You can read more at: www.HiddenBuzz.com
